BIRDS
My interest in watching and drawing birds began when I was a child. With the exceptions of the Black Guillemot and the Great-crested Grebe (with thanks to Wendy O'Conghaile and Mark Carmody, who kindly allowed me to use their photographs as inspiration), my artwork is based on my own sketches and photographs. My work is also influenced by many years of watching birds in the field.
